Win! Your nostalgic car scent captured in our air freshener competition!
Cast your mind back to your first motoring memory. Perhaps it involves a long family road trip in the backseat of a Rover? Maybe your happiest times were spent rolling down the windows on your vintage Jag? Or maybe, just maybe, your fondest memory can be attributed to the one time your Triumph burst into life, the first time you asked.
Whatever the memory, we believe there's a smell to trigger it. From the familiar scent of cracked leather seats to the faint whiff of WD40, there's a smell that reminds us all of a particular motoring memory. And here at Carole Nash, we're determined to take that smell and transform it into an air freshener you can use in your current motor.
Obviously, trying to put our finger on one particular smell is too much of a big task to do on our own – which is why we've called upon none other than Channel 4's Car SOS and classic car expert Fuzz Townshend to help us out!
But that's not all, we're going to need you too! If there's a particular smell that never fails to remind you of a certain motoring memory, be sure to tell us about it in the form below – who knows, your smell might just be one of many that gets transformed into a fully functioning and car-ready air freshener, so you can be reminded of that special moment every single day!
As far as Fuzz is concerned, it doesn't take much to trigger his nostalgic side. "When I was growing up my uncle used to drive a Rover P4 and the interior smelt like a pungent mix of his pipe smoke and the rich leather seats. Ever since, those scents always take me back to the family drives that used to accompany his visits – I have so many fond memories connected to the heady atmosphere of that car.”
Your smell or memory can be as farfetched as you like – as long it matters to you, we want to hear about it. So enter your name, smell and memory in the form below for your chance to win the air-freshener with your smell included!
