What kind of classic campervans are
There are a number of campers to choose
from, including the split screen, early bay, late bay, T3, T4 and
T5. The split-screen was based on the Beetle car, coming off the

guy-ropes. The model became very popular worldwide, going through a
number of improvements, such as an increase from 1131cc to
The early bay model, named for the
single-piece double curvature windscreen, was introduced in 1967.
The design took over from the split screen and added more light and

and it featured squared-off indicators mounted at each end of the
front air intake grille.
In 1979, the T3 Transporter was
introduced, featuring a robust and angular design. It served as the
blueprint for the T4 and T5 models.
